Log Analytics
To maintain the availability and performance of your cloud and on-premises environment you get monitored by Log Analytics which is a service in Operation Management Suite (OMS). From monitoring tools to cloud and on-premises environment, Log Analytics collects data which is generated by resources to provide analysis across many sources.
To provide additional analysis and correlation with other data Log Analytics collects data from Azure Monitor (collects and analyze monitoring data for your Azure Resources).
Log Analytics adds a significant value to get your on-premises environment monitored. The data is directly collected from agents and tools to keep in a single repository. Centralised analysis of your environment is done by Analytics tools such as searches, views against collected data at Log Analytics.
