Google cloud SDK is a Package of tools and libraries which allows us to create, modify and manage the Google cloud resources in the Google environment which includes app engine, compute engine, storage, SQL, BigQuery, cloud DNS etc. It provides a command line interface to manage all these resources.
System requirements:
OS- Windows, MAC, Linux.
Python 2.7x, Java 1.7+
This SDK contains some tools like 'gsutil', 'bq' which help us to use compute engine, cloud storage and google bigQuery from command line interface. Language like Java, python, ruby, Node Js,.NET, PHP are available for installation.
Features
- Cloud tools allow us to authenticate, configure, and interact with cloud APIs.
- 'Bq' tools allows to validate our queries, modify the database and tables in BigQuery through the command line.
- 'Gsutil' provides a command line environment to manage the objects.
- We can also use this resources from PowerShell environment.
